Based in Princeton University’s Department of Comparative Literature, Inventory publishes outstanding translations of poetry and prose from any language into English and thoughtful essyas on the subject of translation. Focusing on translation theory and practice, we provide a forum for artistic and critical conversations about the role of the translator today.
Inventory is made possible by the generosity of the Department of Comparative Literature, the Lewis Center for the Arts, the Program in Translation and Intercultural Communication and the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in the Humanities.
